Forlorn and forgotten...

Darome looked around the almost empty tavern. Grog sat at the end of the rectangle table, playing with a simple game of pins and a ball, setting them up and knocking over the three inch tall wooden pins repetitively. He looked over his shoulder to the window, seeing the sun close to setting, he sighed and looked again at the door.. hoping to see his friends enter soon. He had sent a missive after all.
